Hi, I am Katherine Kim, a graphic designer currently studying at the School of Visual Arts :)
Since my first encounter with the design field in New York, I have consistently explored what I can do and pushed myself to grow as a designer. Before discovering my interest in design, I spent several years in fine art, working primarily with painting and sculpture. Through this, I developed an understanding of form, composition, and material, which continues to influence how I approach design today.
As I transitioned into design, I found myself drawn to a more relatable and logical approach, using visual language in a thoughtful way. I enjoy how design can both tell stories and be broken down into systems. Now, I am continuing to build a career in graphic design, exploring new creative directions and turning ideas into real outcomes.
